Professional Filming Notice
Only official festival media staff and contracted talent may conduct filming or photography using equipment that appears professional in nature. This includes cameras, stabilizers, lighting rigs, audio gear, and similar tools. Attendees may record casual content with phones or small consumer devices for personal use. Anyone who is not hired or contracted by the festival and who attempts to film or photograph in a manner that resembles professional media coverage may be asked to stop recording or may be removed from the event.
Official Festival Media: Use, Attribution, and Branding
Permission to be photographed or recorded does not grant permission to obtain, edit, distribute, or otherwise use official festival photographs or videos.
Sharing or reuse of official festival media requires Company authorization and is subject to Article 18: Media Use, Attribution, and Branding, available with our event terms. Authorized recipients must preserve the approved media, including visible festival branding, watermarks, and required credits. Removing, covering, replacing, or cropping out those elements, or otherwise modifying the media, requires prior written approval.
A caption, description, tag, or comment does not substitute for branding already included in a video. If the Company expressly approves an unbranded version, the main caption or description must identify the festival and include the attribution specified by the Company. Attribution in a comment alone is insufficient.
Requests for footage, raw recordings, alternate edits, or unbranded copies must go through festival management. Obtaining a file directly from a photographer, videographer, editor, or other media provider does not itself establish permission to use it.
These conditions apply before, during, and after the event. They govern permissions granted by the Company and do not restrict uses independently permitted by applicable law.
